Meet Attorney & Founder: Hillary Chaisson, J.D., L.L.M

At Chaisson Law, I help entrepreneurs and professionals build, protect, and grow their businesses with clear, strategic legal guidance.

My interest in law began in a newsroom in London, where I witnessed a heated dispute between an editor and a freelance photographer over ownership of a “newsworthy” photo. That moment showed me how valuable- and vulnerable- creative work and business assets can be, and it ultimately led me to pursue a career in law.

Since then, I have focused my work at the intersection of business, contracts, intellectual property, immigration, and health law, supported by experience managing complex agreements and working alongside legal, financial, and compliance teams to reduce risk and support growth.

My approach is straightforward: protect what you are building, simplify what feels complex, and give you the confidence to move forward.
