Hillary Chaisson founded Chaisson Law with a vision to redefine what modern legal counsel looks like: dynamic, accessible, and deeply aligned with the fast-moving worlds of global mobility and creative innovation.

Operating at the intersection of Immigration and Intellectual Property law, Hillary brings a rare combination of specialized academic expertise and real-world legal strategy to every client. She earned her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Washburn University School of Law and holds an Honors Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from the University of New Hampshire School of Law—nationally recognized for IP education—where she focused on trademark law, trade secrets, and technology licensing. Her deep appreciation for creators and storytellers stems from her foundational background in Media Communications and English Literature, as well as her early career as a journalist.

Hillary’s passion for immigration law is rooted in direct, hands-on client advocacy, including assisting individuals with complex humanitarian relief like Temporary Protected Status (TPS) applications.
